Conferences
In accordance with our aim to provide access to local history, architecture and archaeology for local people, the CAS organises two Conferences each year open to all. The Autumn Conference and Exhibition generally focuses on recent archaeological work in Cambridgeshire and presents an unusual opportunity to discuss local archaeology with the archaeologists. The spring Conference is usually focused on a specific topic broadly related to the Society's interests, and attracts speakers and audiences both from the region as well as from all over Britain. Past themes have included Roman Cambridgeshire and 2000 Years of Fen and Upland: the Creation of the Cambridgeshire Landscape.
