New members are always welcome! By joining the CAS you help to represent the interests of local history, archaeology and architecture in Cambridgeshire, including comments on applications for work on listed buildings as well as other proposals by local authorities.

Membership of CAS

Members of Cambridge Antiquarian Society are entitled to the following:

  • Free entrance to the monthly lecture series held from October to June each year.  Speakers are usually well-known scholars and local experts. The lectures are held at an accessible central Cambridge venue with plentiful free car parking.
  • An all-day spring conference in central Cambridge.
  • An autumn exhibition and conference centred on recent archaeological work in the county.
  • Access to the Haddon Library.
  • Free copies of the Proceedings of the Cambridge Antiquarian Society.
  • Access to the Society’s Collections and other resources.
  • Occasional excursions led by experts.

 

Membership Data

The purpose of holding your data is for the distribution of CAS publications and notices, together with occasional advertisements relating to archaeology, history, topography and architecture, which we regard as part of our brief.

Your personal data (any information which identifies you, or which can be identified as relating to you personally, such as your name, address, phone number or email address) is stored securely.

Informed consent of members is gained as part of the membership application process.

CAS committee acts as data controller and data processor.
